What we collect
When you submit an inquiry form, we receive the details you enter (such as your name, email address, country, area of interest, property type, budget, timeframe and message) and the page you sent it from. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
We use your details only to answer your inquiry and, if you agreed on the form, to introduce you to one or more licensed real estate brokers in Japan (宅地建物取引業者) who may contact you about your request. We share only what is needed for that introduction. We do not sell your information.
What we are not
Japan House Prices is an independent information site. We are not a real estate broker and do not explain, negotiate or recommend specific properties. Brokers we introduce you to handle your information under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for up to one year, then delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop sharing it, by replying to any email from us or by sending a new inquiry with your request. We handle personal information in line with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
Where it is stored
Inquiries are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which may process data outside Japan.
